Me & Program

Apple’s products and marketing have been inspiring me since my first Mac in 2010. I instantly got excited about the company’s attention to detail, so the bits of Apple keynotes and ads can be traced in every video, website and podcast I’ve made over the years.

These are just two videos from my school period, about 7-8 years old,

but they are very evident of Apple's influence on me & my projects

Recently I rewatched the original iPhone’s keynote. I like to imagine what it was like to be at Moscone Center that day, taking a part in the amazing cultural change. Apple’s novel focus on services feels like the next big thing, and I would like to be a part of this change, giving my experience back to what inspired it – to Apple.

I believe I have the necessary skills: from broad knowledge of streaming services landscape to qualitative and quantitative analysis. My Liberal Arts background has taught me to think critically and creatively approach any task.

This junction at the core of Apple has defined my academic track

Me & Music

Music has played a significant role in my life since my first iPod nano. It’s there when I’m most excited or feeling down. I most like to play it in my car when I can sing along most openly. My favorites are Alt-Pop and Rap/Hip-Hop, from Naadya to Face, from Lana Del Rey to Megan Thee Stallion. I had the privilege of being a school DJ for a couple of years, discovering new music and sharing my own. Nowadays I mostly explore new music through Apple Music and social networks.

Some of my most heavy listens of past couple of years are in the background.

Pretty representative sample from 'My Year' Apple Music playlists.

Me & App Store

I still cherish the ‘classic’ games like PvZ and Fruit Ninja. Funny enough, in 2012 I made a podcast about Angry Birds and to my surprise it got very popular, entering the charts and getting thousands of listens. These days I don’t play as much, but sometimes get back to Pokémon Go and Monument Valley. Speaking of apps, my most used ones are Reeder, Things, Instapaper, Apple Podcasts & Music, socials and banking.

I still can’t really wrap my head around it...

Me & Digital Marketing Trends

Personalization trend will continue as more and more data about the users is used to precisely tailor the experience and offering. At the same time, the consumers are getting aware of it, and Apple’s Privacy commitment (especially ATT) will become increasingly appealing to them. I very much share Apple’s responsible views as I study the sociological impacts of AI & big data.

Among other trends, video and curated content will continue, as well as AR (beyond cosmetics and furniture) as more devices get tech such as LIDAR. I also really hope to see App Clips get more widespread.
Me & Organization

As a co-founder of student initiative ‘Nineteen’ I have organized an open discussion ‘Harassment Exists: What’s Next?’ in July 2020 gathering all the anti-harassment initiatives together for the first time. It included making new connections, researching and compiling the topics and finally moderating the discussion. It was done during a challenging time of the founders’ graduation: we had to recruit new members, integrate and engage them into the event’s preparation. I also had to make sure everyone could connect & be heard on this online event.

Everything came together and we had very prolific conversations, getting a bit closer to our common goal of safe and inclusive academic environment.

If you have any questions, I will be happy to answer!
